ABOUT

?WHAT IS THIS

Obsolete Archive is a collection of 100 digital identities from a system that shouldn't still be running.

Each unit is its own character — human, machine, creature, or something harder to classify.

Every unit has its own portrait, animation, sound, and archive file.

They were created as individual identities — something to collect, keep, or wear as your own.

100 units. No duplicates. No replacements.

The archive ends at 100.

>THE ARTIST

Oveck is a New York based artist working across photography, traditional painting, digital art, and animation.

He grew up during the early years of personal computers, video games, and a digital world that felt much smaller, stranger, and more mysterious than it does today.

Obsolete Archive is part nostalgia, part fiction, and part an attempt to recreate that feeling, when a few pixels on a black screen could feel like an entire world.

*THE PROJECT

Obsolete Archive imagines a forgotten digital system still preserving the identities left inside it.

The collection draws from early computer graphics, arcade games, CRT displays, and the visual language of the late 1980s.

The characters don't belong to one world or one story. Some feel familiar. Some feel impossible. That is intentional.

What connects them is the archive.

Each unit is preserved on Ethereum as part of a fixed collection of 100.
